A chance to photograph a gorgeous couple at a cool new Florida wedding venue? Count me in! I was truly in my happy place at this editorial shoot designed and styled by the talented April Turner, of Mint Forever Photography.
Haus820 is central Florida's newest wedding venue, and I was so excited to check it out! It's located at 820 N. Massachusetts Avenue, in Lakeland, Florida. If you have never visited Lakeland, it's a vibrant city along I-4 between Tampa and Orlando. It's full of history and has a charming small-town feel. Lakeland is truly a land of lakes, as it has 38 named lakes throughout the community!
Haus820 is a fully renovated historic warehouse, so it has a classic look, but an industrial vibe. The owners describe it as a perfect balance of vintage and modern. When I first walked in and saw the long wall of white brick (swoon!), the massive windows, and black industrial accents, my first thought was that it's a great backdrop for photos just the way it is. My second thought was that it can also be a blank canvas, to be customized and styled to make each couple's unique vision come to life.
And this couple -- Oh, my word. Rachelle and Zach are, without a doubt, head-over-heels, way in love with one another, which is obvious in looking at their photographs!
